How to create backups in cPanel WHM

Now we will describe you how to create backups in WHM cPanel. Here are second question why create full backups file. Because that file includes all account files, databases, email accounts and settings and if you want to modify any main data or migrate your site on other server we recommend you to create full backup file. Now let’s see how to create backups:

here are descriptions for two types WHM cPanel, “cPanel paper_latern theme” and “cPanel x3 theme”

“cPanel paper_latern theme”:

First you need go to your cPanel open the section “Files” and click on “Backup”.

Then click on “Download a Full Website Backup”.

After that you can choose the “Backup Destination” or leave that by default, in “Home directory” and click on “Generate Backups”.

Once you have completed backups generation you will see a message which notify you about the starting of backup generation process.

After that “Backups Available for Download”. Her you can again choose where you want to save backups (check “Backup Destination”) and if you want to get an email about backup completion click on “Do not send email notification of backup completion” or indicate your mail.

And the “cPanel x3 theme”: here are the same steps to create full backup file but in other interface.
